About ICNA Dawah

A national doorway
to Islam in Canada.

ICNA Dawah helps people explore Islam, supports new Muslims after shahada, and connects local chapters with the human follow-up this work needs.

About ICNA Dawah

A front door for questions, shahada support, and local connection.

ICNA Dawah is a Canada-wide dawah effort under ICNA Canada. The work is simple: receive sincere questions, give clear answers, and help people find real Muslims nearby when a website is not enough.

The team is building a practical network around local coordinators, volunteers, beginner resources, and follow-up for people who are exploring Islam or newly Muslim.

Our mission

Make Islam easier to approach, and make the first steps less lonely.

The mission is not to manufacture pressure. It is to remove friction, answer honestly, and keep people connected to trustworthy local support.

Invitation

Open the door without pressure.

We make it easier for people in Canada to ask about Islam, visit a mosque, request resources, or speak with someone without feeling pushed.

Care

Stay close after shahada.

New Muslims need patient people, not a pile of links. We route them toward local coordinators, community, and steady first steps.

Trust

Keep every reply human.

The work is intentionally personal: clear answers, privacy, and follow-up from someone who has read the actual message.

Our work

What ICNA Dawah is building around the country.

The current work is focused on the moments where people most often get stuck: first questions, shahada follow-up, local community, and volunteer coordination.

National impact

A national effort that still depends on local trust.

Impact here means people being routed to the right next human step. The site creates one consistent front door while chapters continue the relationship locally.

Canada-wide doorway

One front desk for the first message.

People do not need to know which chapter, mosque, or volunteer to contact first. The national intake gives them one clear starting point.

National routing
Local relationship

Chapter support stays personal.

The directory points people toward nearby coordinators so support can move from a website into real local relationships.

City by city
Shared resources

The same essentials, everywhere.

Core beginner resources give volunteers a common path for questions, shahada follow-up, prayer, and mosque visits.

Common path
Volunteer pipeline

More hands for the work ahead.

The site also gives interested Muslims a way to offer time, language skills, hosting, teaching, driving, and local event support.

Growing network
Locations / Chapters

Find the nearest chapter connection.

Use the same chapter directory as New Muslim Support. Choose a city or nearest region and send one message; the national team can route it toward the right coordinator.
